EPCs are required whenever a property is sold, rented or built. They last for ten years and they show just how much energy a property uses in a banding system – from A, the most efficient to G, the least efficient. The law is constantly being updated in this important area – and from October 2015 all landlords in England were required to show tenants a valid EPC, and from April 2019 all rental properties must achieve a minimum rating of E.
Aurora are able to offer EPCs for a fixed fee, just £48.00 including VAT, for a single residential property up to five bedrooms, with discounts available for multiple properties.
